WildFire ‘23 is now open for viewing in Gallery II at the Artists Collective in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The exhibit runs from November 7th through December 2nd with viewing hours from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Tuesdays through Saturdays. A special, open to the public, artist’s reception with food and drink and an “artist’s talk” will be held this Thursday evening (16th) from 5 to 8pm.
I hope you have an opportunity to come by and see my art in person. However, since I know that’s not practical for everyone who may wish to see the exhibit, I’m excited to provide an online version available now on my website.
Follow this link to the WildFire ‘23 Online and you’ll see how the overall exhibit is presented in the gallery and you’ll have a look at each of the twelve primary artworks just as they are displayed in the gallery. Clicking on one of the artworks will take you to that work’s online exhibit page where you’ll see additional views of the work and its “backstory” which includes artist comments, the work’s physical dimensions, and a description of its creation process including photos of the work at progressive stages of its creation. On the exhibit page, you’ll also be able to see each of the eight smaller works which are displayed on pedestals within the gallery.
If, as I hope, you are able to come see the exhibit in person, you’ll also be able to see each work’s backstory by scanning the work’s QR Code displayed next to the work.
